It is solely and without exception the responsibility of the person sending pictures to the site to ensure that they have the permission of the copyright owner to use the image.

Payment
All prices are correct at the time of entering the information onto our database. The total cost of your order is the price of products ordered plus delivery charges as stated upon the website.
Payment can be made by via Direct bank transfer (preferred), Square or Paypal. By placing an order, you confirm that the debiting account that is being used is your own, or is being used with full authorisation of the account owner. (If the issuer of your payment choice refuses to authorise payment to us we will not be able to process your order, nor will we be liable for any delay or non-delivery of product(s) as a result.)
Refusal of Service
We reserve the right to withdraw any products from this website at any time. We may refuse to process any transaction for any reason or refuse service to you at our sole discretion.
To be eligible to purchase products on this website and lawfully enter into contracts under Australian law you must:
- Register by providing your real name, phone number, email address, invoice and
delivery address and payment information - Be 18 or over years of age
- Possess a valid debiting account
By making an offer to buy a product, you specifically authorise us or our payment gateway (i.e. Square, and/or Paypal) to transmit information or to obtain information about you from certain third parties specific to financial authorisation including but not limited to your account details to authenticate your identity and to authorise individual purchase transactions.
We kindly ask that you allow 3-4 business days for processing before you order is posted out (this time frame does not apply to pre-orders or special order items. You will be quoted an estimated turnaround time for these items at time of order). This processing time is subject to change and may be extended during peak hours or sale times. orders are sent via Australia Post, sendle, SendThat or local delivery.
All parcels are sent with tracking.
Standard Shipping Australia-Wide is a $15 flat-rate fee and Express Post Shipping is Australia-Wide is a $20 flat-rate fee.
Orders over $129 are eligible for free standard shipping.
The shipping time is approximately 10 working days, with the exception of some locations, such as, but not limited to, Western Australia, which is 10-14 working days. These shipping times are quoted by Australia Post, and as such, LUA + SAGE cannot be responsible for delays outside of these guidelines. Please note that the shipping time is in addition to the order processing time.
Electronic files, such as Digital Prints, will be emailed the supplied email address within three (3) working days.
Refund & Returns Policy
1) Personalised/Custom Products
Customers will not be eligible for a refund or replacement of personalised or customised products:
- where errors occur from a typing error that you may have made on the internet; or
• for defects that are the result of ordinary wear and tear or abnormal use;
Our personalised products are made-to-order according to your requirements, and as such we cannot accept returns where the customer has changed their mind.
As there are many spelling variations for names, please ensure spelling is checked before an order is completed.
2) Non-Personalised Products
LUA + SAGE inspect all items for quality control prior to shipping.
We strongly recommend that you add parcel protection insurance to your purchase at the checkout.
In the unfortunate event that your goods are damaged during delivery please refer to the below returns policy:
1. Customers are required to inspect goods upon arrival and to notify us of any damages relating to the order within 24 hours of receipt. Unfortunately, we will not be able to take any action on reports beyond this stated period unless parcel protection was purchased with your order.
2. Please notify us via email to hello@luaandsage.com.au and include your invoice number, your best contact number and photos of the damaged goods.
3. We will gladly replace or credit damaged items on agreement provided that written notification has been received via email to hello@luaandsage.com.au within 24 hours of receipt of goods.
4. We are not liable for any damages due to parcels being left in the sun or adverse weather conditions by the courier company.
5. We do not refund or exchange for change of mind.
3) Candles, Wax Melts
We go through weeks of testing for all of our products to ensure that are formulas are correct. Some fragrances in their nature may be subtle and some more prevalent.
Sense of smell also varies from person to person.
We do not offer exchanges or refunds due to a fragrance not being strong enough, or being too strong nor if it is not to your personal liking.
Soy wax being a natural product will have its aesthetic imperfections which do not affect its use. These are not considered a fault.
We would encourage you to read our section on soy wax prior to purchasing to gain a clearer understanding of what are considered “normal” elements of soy wax. Refunds and exchanges are not given for soy imperfections.
We also strongly encourage you to read the candle use and safety page, or refer to the warning safety label that is provided with your candle prior to lighting your candle.
Cancellation Policy
We do not refund or exchange due to change of mind. Please refer to the aforementioned Refund & Returns Policy.
