Wholesale Terms + Conditions

Retailers must agree to our Terms + Conditions and we reserve the right to discontinue sales to stores who fail to comply. Please note, terms and conditions are subject to change at any time. By completing and returning your Wholesale Application to us, you imply that you are in agreement with the following Terms + Conditions. This agreement is between S Credentino and S Laviano T/As LUA + SAGE ABN: 51 770 146 585 (hereinafter referred to as “LUA + SAGE”) and you, the retailer.


1. ORDERING & PAYMENT

  • All prices are in Australian dollars. GST is not applicable.
  • There is a minimum order quantity of 10 units per product category (e.g. 10 candle jars, 10 keychains, 10 wax melts, etc) on each wholesale order. If you are needing a small top up in between orders please email us: hello@luaandsage.com.au to discuss.
  • Once your wholesale account is approved,  you will receive an email with an order form.
  • Please email the completed form to hello@luaandsage.com.au where will then calculate the postage charge and issue you an invoice. Wholesale payments can be made through Bank Transfer Only.
  • Production of your order will begin upon receipt of cleared funds into our account.
  • Please ensure you give the full and correct shipping address to avoid re-delivery fees.
  • Please note that we recommend all keychains be created with silver tone keyrings/lobster clips for wholesale orders. This is because rose gold and gold toned alloy metals tend to tarnish faster than silver.
    If you would like them created with the rose gold or gold lobster clasp itemised in the product description, please leave the following note on your order “clasp as advertised”. Lanyards are created with the same toned clasps as advertised. Please feel free to get in touch if you would like to chat more about this. You can read about alloy metals and tarnishing here.

SHIPPING


Shipping is based on distance and cubic weight. We use the services of Australia Post, Startrack or Toll to deliver your order.

Once we have received your order we will calculate the cubic weight of the parcel and obtain quotes from all three companies. We will always offer you the best quote out of the three.

If you have your own trusted courier company that you would prefer to use, you are welcome to organise your own courier to pick-up from us at your cost and discretion.

Customers local to Sydney are also welcome to pick-up their order from us.

  • Please select your preferred shipping options when checking out. The default is standard.
  • Standard domestic delivery typically takes 2-6 business days, while express items takes 1-3 business days. Delivery times may vary depending on your destination.
  • There is automatic coverage to the value of $100 included in Australia’s Post pricing. You have the option to increase the value of coverage. Australia Post charges an additional $2.50 per every $100 over this amount (e.g. $200 coverage would be an $2.50, $300 coverage would be $5, etc)
  • Once your order has been dispatched, you will be issued with a tracking number allowing you to follow the delivery progress.
  • Please allow for extra delivery time during peak times like Christmas and Easter, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. Please note that the current COVID-19 Pandemic has put a massive strain on the Australian Postal Network and delivery times may be delayed.
  • If your order is returned to sender we will contact you. If you would like us to resend your order, you will be charged postage a second time.

 TURNAROUND TIME

  • We aim to process all orders within 10 business days from receipt of payment. In peak times this may extend to 21 business, however any delays in our processing time will be communicated to you at time of order.

BACK ORDERS

  • On the odd occasion that any of our supplies are out of stock with our suppliers and we are unable to fulfil your whole order within the aforementioned time-frame, we will notify you.
  • In this case, we can offer an agreeable alternative item, or refund if necessary.

CANCELLATIONS, RETURNS & EXCHANGES

  • Any cancellations or changes to your order must be submitted via email within 8 hours of placing your order. No changes or cancellations will be accepted after this.
  • If your order, or part thereof, arrives damaged please notify us within 24 hours of receipt by emailing us at hello@luaandsage.com.au . Please be sure to include photographs of how the parcel was received and the damaged items.
  • Any damages to our products that occur after 24 hours of receipt are not the responsibility of LUA + SAGE, unless the product is deemed faulty within 30 days of purchase.
  • Any damages that occur in transit from you, the retailer, to your end-user customer are not the responsibility of LUA + SAGE.
  • We are unable to accept returns or exchanges for unsold stock.
  • Please be aware that alloy metals (lobster clips, keyrings, clasps) will tarnish over time. This is not considered a defect. To learn more about alloy metals and tarnishing please read here.
  • Please note that aesthetic imperfections to soy wax are not considered a fault – these are natural characteristics of soy wax. This includes but is not limited to frosting, sweating, discoloration.

SALE OF LUA + SAGE PRODUCTS

  • All of our products must be displayed and sold in their original LUA + SAGE packaging with LUA + SAGE branding. Gift boxes may not be broken up and sold individually. You may not brand our products as your own unless you are under a White Label Agreement with us.
  • You, the retailer, have the right to display LUA + SAGE items as you see fit within your retail space. In the event that LUA + SAGE packaging needs to be changed to fit the retail space, please request this in writing. We may be able to organise alternative branding that better suits your store.
  • All LUA + SAGE products being sold online must state clearly that they are created by LUA + SAGE.
  • We strongly recommend that you include basic candle safety instructions on your website if you are selling our candles. Candle safety stickers that are placed on Lua + Sage candles or packaging are not to be tampered with.
  • We strongly recommend that you include a choking hazard disclaimer on any advertised silicone keychains, acrylic earrings or wax melts listed on your website. Silicone bead products must not be sold or promoted as teething toys/accessories or sensory chew accessories. 
  • All RRP pricing is listed on the LUA + SAGE website. You have authority to increase your retail price for LUA + SAGE but not to sell below our RRP. If you would like to offer a limited time sale which would bring Lua + Sage products under our advertised RRP, please request this in writing.
  • You may sell our products to customers worldwide, with the exception of the United States of America and Canada. LUA + SAGE are not liable for any custom or international shipping fees.

PRODUCT IMAGES

  • If you are an online retailer, we are happy to supply you with our product or lifestyle images. Please email us to request the ones you require.
  • Images must be used in their supplied state to maintain quality – please avoid using filters that change the colour of the products.
  • All supplied images are subject to copyright and must only be used to market LUA + SAGE products.
  • Photos of our products, whether supplied by LUA + SAGE, or taken by Retailers and their associated photographers, must not be used to promote hateful or divisive speech/opinions, acts of violence or illegal activities. Doing so will automatically have your account suspended.  

PRODUCT COLOURS

  • Whilst every effort has been made to ensure our products are displayed accurately, please note that, due to different monitor settings and screen capabilities, the actual colour of these products may vary slightly from what you see on your screen. 

By submitting an order with LUA + SAGE, you indicate that you have understood and are in agreement to the above terms and conditions.
